A facelift tightens and repositions the skin of the face and neck. The goal is to erase the main signs of aging.

There are different methods of facelift:

Complete cervicofacial lift (full face lift)

This is a comprehensive surgical procedure that treats both the face and neck. It aims to correct sagging skin and wrinkles across the entire face and neck.

Mini-facelift

Less invasive than a full facelift, a mini-facelift typically targets specific areas of the face , such as the lower jaw or cheeks. It is often used for patients with moderate skin laxity.

Temporal lift

Focused on the temple area, this type of facelift aims to correct sagging skin in this specific region.

Eyebrow lift

This is a procedure to correct sagging of the eyebrows and forehead, often performed in conjunction with other facial rejuvenation procedures .

Neck lift

Focuses specifically on the neck to treat sagging skin, wrinkles and jowls in this area.

Neck lift with lower cervical plastic surgery

A variation of the neck lift that specifically targets the area under the chin to treat double chin and sagging skin.

Midface Lift

Targets the cheeks and area around the nose to correct sagging skin and restore firmness to the central part of the face.

Chin lift (mentoplasty)

Aims to improve the appearance of the chin by treating sagging skin and reshaping the chin area.

Sometimes it is possible to combine a facelift with a blepharoplasty . This involves surgery on the upper eyelids (drooping eyelids) and/or the lower eyelids (dark circles, bags under the eyes).

How much does a facelift cost?

Depending on the method and the surgeon chosen, a facelift costs from 2,500$ to 20,000 $.

Are facelifts reimbursed?

Social security and mutual insurance companies do not reimburse operations carried out for purely aesthetic purposes, as they are considered non-medically necessary plastic surgery procedures.

However, reimbursement may be considered in cases where the surgery is performed for medical and restorative reasons. This is extremely rare in the case of facelifts.
