Each face is unique and it’s the little specificities that make them so charming!
Sometimes certain specific features of the face can cause functional discomfort (difficulty chewing or breathing through the nose) or physical discomfort (loss of self-confidence, etc.).
Here are 8 types of faces:
Short face (small chin)
The so-called “short face” is distinguished by the chin. In fact, the chin is only underdeveloped along the horizontal axis.
Big ears
Large ears can be enhanced with jewelry. Large ears don’t necessarily mean protruding ears.
Prognathie - Menton en avant
Prognathism is characterized by an overdeveloped lower jaw that protrudes forward. This can cause problems with dental occlusion.
Trumpet nose
The trumpet nose is characterized by a rising tip of the nose, widening the nostrils, which become relatively visible when viewed from the front. The trumpet nose is also characterized by a rounded inward ridge of the nose.
Hunchbacked nose
A humpback nose is characterized by a bump on the ridge of the nose. This can sometimes cause a deviated nasal septum and difficulty breathing through the nose.
Big nose
The large nose, or Bourbon nose, has the particularity of having an imposing shape, often rounded on top when viewed in profile. It has a significant impact on the face when viewed from the side, much less so when viewed from the front.
Chin back
A tilted chin can be caused by underdeveloped chin bones and cartilage, or an underdeveloped lower jaw. This causes sagging tissue, a double chin, and sometimes difficulty keeping the mouth closed without straining the chin muscles.
